DU Event Epilogue

All that stands in the wake of the explosion is a crater filled with heavy rubble, the power of the explosion enough to wipe the Hunter off the face of the Earth. Despite this, Omega emerges from the crater's epicenter with only rage in his eyes. As he rises from the debris he is met with one last Thunder Force member: The Mighty American. He is not only upgraded thanks to Wildman's Power Armour, but has also hooked himself up the ancient but powerful Eye of Atlantis, a source of power responsible for bestowing super powers to many heroes.

With the connections complete, The Mighty American fires a laser of devastating power at point blank range. The feedback of power only making it grow stronger and stronger, until the power within the ancient artifact begins to die away. In the aftermath of the blast only one stands conscious, and it is not our heroes. To make matters worse, the Eye of Atlantis is also still... the hum of power it used to emit no longer there.

So this is it! My final page for this year's DU Crossover story, and it's been one hell of a ride for Cross... actually has anything good happened to Cross during the past few months? Not really. I guess now we have to wait and see just how all of this is going to end.

Why no colours? Because technically I'm on vacation... so I've been out a lot. And I'm going to continue being on vacation till the deadline. If we're lucky, I may be able to get colours completed at the very very end, but just in case, it's here anyway.
