DU Sub-Challenge: CROSS + CHIAROSCURO +

This was a fun little challenge idea so I spent half a days work thinking about it. The main idea behind this character album is that it follows the journey of Cross' origin story almost like a film ost. The album is quite instrumental heavy, with a focus on the creepy factor. The album art is an idea I've wanted to get on the screen for quite some time, and it inspired the name of the album too (Chiaroscuro is an art technique based on the relation of light and dark). Before the massacre, there was quiet young man. He had a brother, a father, and a mother.

02) THEME OF BISHOP: Afterdark - Blaqk Audio (4:30)
There is a monster haunting a quiet British town, and in the midst of it the young man hears a presence in his mind.

03) Virtual Mima - Masahiro Ikumi (4:54)
What is one death becomes several more, striking fear into not just the townsfolk, but the young man who recognises the victim's faces.

04) Pure Imagination - Maroon 5 (4:18)
The young man learns that the voice is the monster, who explains the truth via a dream-like trance: the victims are demons in disguise.

05) Map of the Problematique - MUSE (4:20)
The dream ends and reality hits hard. The young man's father was possessed. He is forced to him kill with his own hands, his own brother a witness.

06) Supersymmetry - Darius (2:30)
The killings continue, and while the monster dulls the pain of his host, the human still feels the weight of death.

07) Magia (Instrumental) - Kalafina (5:09)
The demons begin to spread inside a school. The young man has no other choice but to burn the school to the ground, and battle the demons within.

08) Strobe (Adagio in D Minor) - John Murphy (3:53)
The invisible invasion comes to an end with a school in ashes, his family broken, and an audience with the demon king.

09) Invincible - MUSE (5:02)
After the massacre, there stood only the young man, the monster, and his brother.
