MAY 2021 EVENT: COVERART CRAZY

Spring is almost over, so let's celebrate with paying tribute to the history of media itself! Nothing makes an impression quite like the iconic covers of our favourite stories, it's time to pick up your pens and tell the world what's inspired your Myriad characters... in HOMAGE FORM!

The objective of this month's Event is to create a homage to a piece of cover art!
The Main Character you draw must have a Character Profile!
You can add other characters into the cover as well, if you so choose
The cover can be of ANY media, be it comic, movie, book, game, or anything else. As long as it has a cover art, it's UP FOR GRABS!
The discription must have the source (or link) to the original cover in question. Let us know what you're doing a homage to!
Submit your entry to us by Sending a Note with the title "Event Submission"
The Event has been extended and will end on June 30th at 10PM GMT!
You do not need a Story to participate.

[ APR 2020 EVENT: Memetic Anthology ]
I think we broke something... I suppose it IS the time of the year to make fools of ourselves.
- Your objective is to create new Myriad Anthology illustrations and comics... WITHOUT DRAWING ANYTHING NEW!
- This means no new drawings or images to make your illustrations/comics, only stuff that already exists!
- This means you can use existing illustrations/comics from MA, stock images, photos, etc.
- Mix and match what you have to make something new!
- You can do more than one entry if you wish, and we will accept up to 3 entries per Creator.
- This means you can up to 3 illustrations, 3 short comics, or a combination of both.
- Remember to give appropriate credit to content that isn't yours!
- If you wish for any of the content you've created to be EXCLUDED from this event, please make a comment on this journal as soon as possible about what you want excluded.
- Entries that include content from the excluded list will not count as a submission.
- Entries involving the affiliate comic Too Much Sugar are allowed!
- Submit your completed submission to the group via a Note with the subject "Event Submission".
- You do not need a Story to participate!
- The Event will end on 30th April 2020 at 10PM GMT

[ FEB 2020 EVENT: Myriad Valentines ]
Love is in the air... at least on Earth at this time of year! Let's all jump on the Valentines bandwagon together shall we? What could possibly go wrong?
- Draw a character paired with another character (or even a group of characters) related to the shenanigans that are dating, courtship, and being in love.
- ALTERNATIVELY: Draw a character receiving some kind of Valentine or request to go on a date. How do they respond?
- To enter the Event with a Character you must have one in the group's Character Archive.
- One of the characters in each entry MUST be a Main Character from the group's Character Archive, but it DOESN'T have to be one of your own.
- The events you draw don't have to have happened in present day, it can be about the past... or maybe the future.
- In the spirit of making things clear, Side Characters are allowed, as long as one Main Character is present.
- You can do more than one entry if you wish, and we will accept up to 3 entries per Creator.
- This means you can up to 3 illustrations, 3 short comic, or a combination of both.
- Submit your completed submission to the group via a Note with the subject "Event Submission".
- You do not need a Story to participate!
- The Event will end on 29th February 2020 at 10PM GMT!

[ JAN 2020 EVENT: New Years Resolution ]
A new decade begins, so it's time for everyone to get back in gear. Perhaps setting some new goals is in order!
- You can draw either yourselves (as a Creator) or one of your Main Characters (as themselves) showing or telling what they want to achieve this year!
- To enter the Event with a Character you must have one in the group's Character Archive.
- You can do more than one entry if you wish, and we will accept up to 3 entries per Creator.
- This means you can do one for yourself and two for your Characters (if you have more than one).
- Submit your completed submission to the group via a Note with the subject "Event Submission".
- You do not need a Story to participate!
- The Event will end on 31st January 2020 at 10PM GMT!
